RICHMOND, Va. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team has been named by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team. The women posted a GPA of 3.48 to earn the honor.
In total, 781 teams from 459 colleges and universities earned the honor, and those teams represent 19,209 student-athletes. To be named a Scholar All-America Team, the program must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester. A total of 654 teams achieved above a 3.30 last fall.
The Greyhounds, who are led by second-year Director of Swimming Matt Easterday, are in their fourth season as a varsity program, and the squad earned victories in its final two dual meets of the winter. Moravian will finish the 2024-25 campaign in the 2025 Landmark Conference Championship on February 13-15 at the Loyola (Md.) University Mangione Aquatic Center in Baltimore.
