Limbacher set four program records in a 1-0-1 week for the Hounds. Limbacher took a minute and 34 seconds off the previous school record to win the 1,000-yard freestyle in a time of 11:36.24, and she also set the school mark in the 500-yard freestyle, with a first-place time of 5:37.56, in an 83-83 tie with Wilkes University Friday evening. Limbacher completed the Senior Day meet by swimming a leg of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:56.67.
"We're really proud of the progress Ashlee has made in such a very short period of time," commented Director of Swimming Matt Easterday. "To take off a year and a half and to just jump right in and work hard and in a months' time be doing what she's doing is amazing. She's also been a phenomenal teammate and we're just really happy she's a Hound!"
The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to the pool on Saturday, February 1 when the team closes out the regular season with a Landmark Conference dual meet at Lycoming College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
