LOYOLA, Md. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team set five school records on the second day of the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships at the Mangione Aquatic Center at Loyola (Md.) University Friday, and the Hounds are eighth of ten teams after two days of competition.
How It Happened
- Senior Catie Lovett finished the opening session of the day with a school record time of 25.31 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle preliminaries to make the "A" final, the first female in program history to reach at "A" final at the conference meet
- In the finals, Lovett was eighth in the final in another school record time of 25.21 seconds
- Senior Ashlee Limbacher began the morning session with a school record time of 5:24.23 in the 500-yard freestyle preliminaries to make the "B" final
- Limbacher took another three seconds off the school record, finishing second in the "B" final in a time of 5:21.08
- The Greyhounds 400-yard medley relay team of Lovett, Limbacher, senior Sarah Mazzetti and freshman Gabby Blasko posted a school record time of 4:32.16
- In the preliminaries of the 200-yard individual medley, Blasko swam a time of 2:33.99 while Mazzetti posted a time of 2:42.99
- Freshman Lydia Konosky recorded a time of 29.59 in the 50-yard freestyle preliminaries while sophomore Julia Zaprazny swam 30.68 in the prelims
