TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore Aimee Badman has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Badman had a pair of 15th place finishes at the non-scoring Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals on Saturday with a time of 8.21 seconds in the 60-meter dash and 27.33 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
"Aimee had a lot of setbacks headed into last indoor season, especially the first few meets, so it's been great to see her much healthier this fall and hit the ground running the first few meets with some quick early-season 60 and 200 times," stated Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann. "She still has a lot more room to improve this season and I think as long as we don't have any setbacks between now and March, she could start to flirt with 8 seconds but it's certainly been a strong start to indoors for her thus far."
Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, January 19 when the squad heads to the Ithaca College Invitational.
