Greyhounds Post 14 Top 10 Finishes with One Event Win at Susquehanna Challenge

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field squad earned one event win in the non-scoring Susquehanna University Challenge Saturday.

Junior Carly Danoski won the mile run with a time of 5:20.74, and freshman Natalie Stabilito took third in the race in 5:36.68 and sophomore Natalie Novotni was fourth in a time of 5:37.20. Sophomore Emily Renner was third in the 400-meter dash in 1:04.53 and tenth in the 200-meter dash in 28.42 seconds while freshman Ally Lambert finished seventh in the 400-meter dash in 1:05.85 and tenth in the 60-meter hurdles in 10.50 seconds.

Moravian's 4x200-meter relay squad of seniors Anna Osman and Jordan Luciano and sophomores Morgan Weaver and Camaryn Wheeler took second in 1:51.56 while the 4x400-meter relay team of Osman, Wheeler, Weaver and Danoski also finished second in 4:20.27. Weaver finished seventh in the 200-meter dash in 28.00 seconds while freshman Santina Burak took sixth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:32.51. Freshman Emma Marion placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run in 11:09.10 while sophomore Molly Talarico was tenth in the race in 11:19.57.

The Hounds' only top 10 finish in the field events was Luciano placing seventh in the long jump wth a leap of 5.17 meters (16-11.5).

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Friday, February 8 when the squad competes in the Fastrack Invitational being competed at the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, New York beginning at 2:00 p.m.
