Eberly's Win in Triple Jump Leads Hounds at Kutztown Last Chance Qualifier

KUTZTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field team competed in the non-scoring Kutztown University Last Chance Qualifier Friday evening.

Sophomore Jenevieve Eberly won the triple jump with a leap of 10.19 meters (33-5.25) while sophomore Alison Nicolosi took third at 9.49 meters (31.-1.75) and sophomore Olivia Teel finished fourth with a mark of 8.89 meters (29-2). Eberly also finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.77 meters (15-7.75) while Teel tied for sixth in the high jump at 1.35 meters (4-5). Junior Vanessa Blose finished eighth in the shot put at a career-best 10.06 meters (33-0.25).

On the track, senior Anna Osman placed fifth in the 400-meter dash in 1:02.57 while sophomore Morgan Weaver took eighth with a time of 1:03.85. Sophomore Cat Cole was seventh in the preliminaries of the 55-meter hurdles in PR times of 9.55 seconds Osman was eighth in 9.62 seconds, senior Jordan Luciano took ninth in 9.66 seconds and Eberly finished tenth in 9.90 seconds. Sophomore Camaryn Wheeler placed eighth in the 200-meter dash in 28.13 seconds while Luciano was ninth in 28.35 seconds and sophomore Emily Renner finished tenth in 28.53 seconds. Weaver was ninth in the 55-meter dash preliminaries in a personal best time 7.77 seconds.

The Greyhounds will be back in action on Saturday, February 16 in the Keogh Invitational at Haverford College in the squad's last meet before the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships on February 23.
