Hounds Compete in All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track & Field Championships

ITHACA, N.Y. --- The Moravian College women's track & field squad had four individuals and one relay squad compete in the All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Ithaca College Saturday.

Senior Anna Osman won her heat of the 400-meter dash and placed 16th overall in a time of 1:01.20 to lead the Greyhounds while sophomore Natalie Novotni finished 19th in the 3,000-meter run in 10:36.03. Osman joined with senior Jordan Luciano and sophomores Morgan Weaver and Camaryn Wheeler to place 10th in the 4x200-meter relay in a time of 1:48.10.

Luciano was the Hounds' only field competitor, and she placed 23rd in the long jump with a leap of 5.10 meters (16-8.75).

The Greyhounds will find out on Sunday, March 3 if anyone has qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships in Boston, Massachusetts.
