Men's Soccer Heading to Scotland & England from August 5-16

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team will be heading to Scotland and England on Wednesday, August 5 for 11 days of sightseeing and international games.

This will be Head Coach Todd Ervin's second European trip he has taken with a Greyhound squad after the program took a trip to Italy in 2012. Coach Ervin has 16 players making the trip to Europe next week, and the group has been at Moravian for the last week for a short training session.

The team will be maintaining a blog during the entire trip: http://mcinengland.blogspot.com/.

While in Glasgow, the team will tour the city as play a match versus the Glasgow Rangers U-18 squad. Once the team heads to England, Moravian will tour several stadiums and cities along with three more matches against the Burscough U-18, Southport FC U-18 and Oxford City FC U-18 before making the trip back to the United States on August 16.

Once the team returns, they will have a few days off before reporting to preseason camp. Moravian is slated to open its 2015 schedule on Tuesday, September 1 in a non-conference match versus Cairn University on the HUB Quad at 4:00 p.m.

Follow along with the blog as well as the men's soccer team's other social media outlets: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
