BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior forward Brett Harder of the Moravian College men's soccer team has been named to the 2015 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team for NCAA Division III schools in District IV.

To be eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.30 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve. District IV in NCAA Division III is made up of schools from Pennsylvania. Moravian has had 43 Greyhounds named CoSIDA Academic All-Americans®.

By making the All-District First Team, Harder is now forwarded onto the national ballot to try for CoSIDA Academic All-America® accolades, which will be announced Friday, November 20. There are a total of six student-athletes from the Landmark Conference on Academic All-District Teams.

Harder, who is majoring in mathematics and physics and has a 3.45 GPA, leads the Greyhounds in scoring this fall with eight goals and an assist for 17 points. Harder is just the second Moravian player to new eight goals in a season over the last 10 years.

He is a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, and Harder serves as the Vice President of the Society of Physics Students and the secretary for the Math Society on campus. He is a three-time Dean's List student during his first three academic years at Moravian.

"Brett's election to the Academic All-District Men's Soccer team is a testament to the effort that he puts into everything that he does," commented Head Coach Todd Ervin. "Brett's work ethic and high standards allow him to be successful in every aspect of this life and I feel lucky to have had him with us over the last four years."
