DANBURY, Conn. --- The Moravian College men's soccer squad has been awarded a berth in the 2016 ECAC Division III Championship Tournament, and the Greyhounds are the third seed in Region 3 and will play in a first round match on Saturday, November 12.

Moravian, which is 8-4-4 on the year, will play second seed William Paterson University, 8-8-2, on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Ramapo College, the top seed in Region 3. The Road Runners host fourth seed College of Staten Island in the other first round match in the region on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. The Greyhounds are making the program's 12th trip to the ECAC Division III Tournament and the first appearance since 2002.

The ECAC changed the format of the tournament this year with one overall tournament with region-based opening rounds. After Saturday's eight first round matches, the eight remaining teams in the 16-team field will play the quarterfinals on Sunday, November 13. Rutgers-Camden enters the opening weekend as the top overall seed.
