Greyhounds Move Up One Spot to No. 18 in Latest NFCA DIII Top 25 Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Moravian College softball team has moved up one spot to No. 18 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll.

The Greyhounds returned from their Spring Break trip to the National Training Center in Clermont, Florida with an 8-2 mark before sweeping Neumann University in their home opener on Tuesday, March 15 to improve to 10-2 on the year. Moravian's trip south included a 3-0 win over then-No. 11 Alfred University and a 10-8 victory over WPI, which is receiving votes this week along with Alfred.

The Hounds received 54 points this week to move from No. 19 to No. 18. Moravian began the year ranked No. 22 in the Preseason Poll before going to No. 21 in the first regular season poll announced on March 2. The Greyhounds climbed to No. 19 last week with 41 points while playing in Florida.
