Women's Basketball to Host 2013 Fall Clinics

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's basketball team will be hosting a series of clinics in Johnston Hall this fall.

The Parent/Daughter Clinic on September 29th has been canceled.

Moravian will host a Post/Perimeter Clinic on October 26th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Girls grades 5th to 12th are invited to participate in the position specific basketball clinic  Guard and post play will be the primary focus of this clinic. Players will have the opportunity to learn and improve their skills based on their positions.

The Greyhounds have a Skills and Drills Clinic schedule fro November 2nd from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Girls grades 2nd to 8th are invited to participate in this basic skills and drills clinic. Skill levels from beginning to advanced are welcome; players will be divided based on age and ability. This clinic will focus on the basic skills of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense

The final clinic is an Advanced Skills Clinic on November 3rd from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. High school basketball players are invited to participate in this advanced skills clinic. This clinic will focus on individual and team drills that will help players improve and prepare for the high school season. This one day clinic is a great opportunity to fine tune your game prior to the start of the winter season.

The final three clinics cost $35 per participant. If you will be attending two or more of the clinics, the cost is $30 per clinic.  To register for any of the four clinics, click here.
