ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior golfer Scott Stires (Bedminster, N.J./Bernards HS) was named the Empire 8 Golfer of the Week for the week of October 24th.
Stires finished with a 78 to tie for fourth place at the Centenary College Cyclone Invitational. Earlier in the week, he shot an 83 to place eighth at the Muhlenberg College Invitational.
In eight rounds this fall Stires is averaging 77.4 strokes and is tied for fourth place headed into the spring season of the Empire 8 Men's Golf Championship.
