ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior Thomas Fenyak of the Moravian College men's golf team earned Empire 8 Golfer of the Week honors for the week of April 16th.

Fenyak shot a 74 in the opening round of the Glenmaura Invitational on Sunday, tying him for fourth in the 45-player field. He tied for 38th in the two-day Mid-Atlantic Regional. Fenyak leads the Greyhounds with an average of 77.3 strokes per round over 15 rounds, including seven rounds of 75 or lower.

Golf returns to the tees on Saturday and Sunday, April 21st and 22nd for the Empire 8 Conference Championship. Rounds three and four will be played at Hershey Country Club.
