BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's indoor track & field squad won one event and had 11 top 10 finishes in the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday.
Moravian Event Winners
- Freshman Javon McKay won the 60-meter dash in an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 6.93 seconds, the fourth fastest time in school history, after placing fourth in the preliminaries in 7.05 seconds
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- McKay was also third in the 200-meter dash final, winning his heat in a time of 23.05 seconds while junior Trevor Gray took seventh in 23.44 seconds. Sophomore Owen Sabastro placed ninth in 23.58 seconds while senior Matt Shea finished tenth in a time of 23.81 seconds
- Sophomore Jacob Fenstermaker was fourth in the finals of the 60-meter dash in an AARTFC qualifying time of 7.06 seconds after running the same time in the preliminaries while Gray took seventh in the finals at 7.13 seconds after a preliminary time of 7.15 seconds. Sabastro was ninth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash in 7.18 seconds
- Senior Dan McNicholas placed fifth in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 13.86 meters (45-5.75) on Friday evening
- Sophomore Josh Swain was tenth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles in 9.13 seconds
- Senior Jeremy Goll finished tenth in the shot put with a toss of 13.47 meters (44-2.5)
