LANCASTER, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's indoor track & field squad earned one event victory and one All-Atlantic Region Track & Field qualifying mark at the Mini Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College Saturday.
Moravian Event Winners
- Freshman Logan Betyeman won the mile run with a time of 4:28.20
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Sophomore Bryan Kerchner was the runner-up in the mile run with a time of 4:29.01 while senior Casey Frank was third in 4:29.46, junior Owen Nahf took fourth in a time of 4:30.45, junior Jake Farrell finished seventh at 4:31.26 and senior Josh Mangini placed tenth at a time of 4:31.74
- Freshman Javon McKay took second in the 60-meter dash finals in an AARTFC qualifying time of 6.99 seconds while sophomore Jacob Fenstermaker was seventh in 7.25 seconds after a preliminary time of 7.22 seconds. Sophomore Owen Sabastro took ninth in the 60-meter dash prelims in 7.25 seconds
- The Greyhounds 4x200-meter relay squad of McKay, Fenstermaker, Sabastro and junior Jason Gartner placed second in a time of 1:35.37
- Moravian's 4x400-meter relay team of senior Paul Petre, junior Geoffrey Kleinberg and freshmen Jordan Gagner and Jackson Royds took seventh with a time of 3:40.75
- Freshman Will Weinlein finished seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:47.53 while freshman Michael Schippnick was a spot back at 16:50.57 and freshman Nate Moore took ninth in 17:03.53
- Senior Jeremy Goll placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 13.06 meters (42-10.25)
- Freshman Mael Tshiyonga was ninth in the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries in 9.27 seconds
