CHESTER, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's outdoor track & field squad participated in the Widener University Last Chance Qualifier Monday with one regional qualifying mark, a school record and a Landmark Conference record.
Moravian Finishers
- The Hounds' 4x100-meter relay squad of juniors Trevor Gray and Owen Sabastro, sophomore Jacob Fenstermaker and Freshman Javon McKay was the runner-up in an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 41.26 seconds. The time also marks the second time this season the quartet broke the school and Landmark Conference record in the event
- Graduate student Christian Jancsarics took ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a PR time of 9:45.84
- Senior Jeremy Goll finished tenth in the shot put with a toss of 13.58 meters (44-6.75)
- Junior Jason Gartner was 11th in the 400-meter hurdles in 58.54 seconds
- Graduate student Tim King took 16th in the hammer throw with a distance of 44.66 meters (146-6)
- Fenstermaker placed 19th in the 100-meter dash in 11.22 seconds
- Freshman Jordan Gagner took 29th in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.60 while senior Brendon Ward finished 51st in 2:00.32
- Freshman Nate Moore placed 52nd in the 5,000-meter run in 15:29.91
- Sophomore Joe Allegro was 53rd in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:14.68
