HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's cross country team finished first of four teams to win the Landmark Conference Championship Preview meet hosted by Juniata College Friday evening at the Sunset Golf Club.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds scored 30 points by taking fourth through tenth in the individual standings to edge Susquehanna University by two points after the River Hawks claimed the top three individuals
- Junior Nathan Hajel led the Hounds as he finished fourth of 44 runners on the 6,000-meter course with a time of 19:17.50. Junior Owen Nahf was just a tenth of a second back in fifth place in 19:17.60 while sophomore Bryan Kerchner took sixth in 19:18.00
- Graduate student Christian Jancsarics was seventh overall in a 6K PR time of 19:26.70 while freshman Logan Betyeman finished eighth in 19:26.90
- Freshman Nate Moore placed ninth with a time of 19:27.40 while freshman Will Weinlein rounded out Moravian's top seven with a time of 19:32.20
- The Hounds had four other top 20 finishes with junior Geoffrey Kleinberg in 13th place in a time of 20:07.50, senior Josh Mangini taking 14th in 20:07.90, senior Casey Frank finishing 19th at 20:26.00 and freshman Gavin Hefferan placing 20th in a time of 20:30.70
