GALLOWAY, N.J. --- The Moravian University men's cross country squad won its second straight meet as the squad captured first place at the Stockton University Osprey Open Saturday morning.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds scored 50 points to lead the 15-team field and finish 40 points ahead of runner-up NCAA Division II California University of Pennsylvania. The host Ospreys were third with 91 points
- Junior Owen Nahf led Moravian on the course with a time of 25:41.75 over the 8,000-meter race to take second of the 132 runners
- Junior Nathan Hajel finished seventh in 26:09.60 while senior Josh Mangini placed eighth in 26:12.93 to give the Hounds three top-10 finishers
- Moravian had five other runners place in the top 30 with freshman Nate Moore in 16th with a time of 26:57.91, senior Casey Frank at 17th in 27:10.67, freshman Will Weinlein in 18th at 27:14.15, freshman Logan Betyeman finishing 21st in 27:18.51 and graduate student Christian Jancsarics placing 26th in a time of 27:32.91
