TOWSON, Md. --- The Landmark Conference has named 57 student-athletes to the All-Sportsmanship Team. The All-Sportsmanship Team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective team.

The All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. The student-athletes selected demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory and respectfulness in defeat. They are ambassadors for the team, both on and off the field, and galvanize their teammates toward their goals. These student-athletes exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators, and the greater campus community.

The All-Sportsmanship Team was created by the Landmark Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in 2013 as a way to highlight student-athletes who are making an impact. The Landmark previously awarded a Sportsmanship Cup before the All-Sportsmanship Team replaced the Cup for the 2013-14 academic year.

Cross Country
Junior Ally Meeks is the women's cross country honoree on the All-Sportsmanship Team. Meeks finished 34th in the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships, finishing the 6,000-meter course in 26:05.49 as the Hounds placed second in the meet.

"When you think of Ally, positivity is the first thing that comes to mind," stated Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann. "We all have setbacks and rough days, but she tackles each practice and challenge with an infectious optimism that reverberates throughout the team and boosts their morale when they're having off days. There are a few teammates that immediately jump to mind who you can see are better runners due to Ally's daily optimism and work ethic which positively affects their moods and work ethics. She was as strong of a supporter of her teammates as anyone at the NCAAs this past weekend and in fact purchased an inflatable costume online to wear to support the team at a few meets this fall. She's also extremely respectful, conscientious, and supportive of others she competes against, and you always know she'll set the standard for high character and how everyone should represent Moravian and our program."

Junior Geoffrey Kleinberg was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team for the men's cross country program. Kleinberg placed 42nd in the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships in an 8,000-meter time of 28:48.86 while battling injuries. The Greyhounds captured their third straight conference title this fall.

"Geoffrey is an incredible representative for this designation and ultimately our program," Baumann explained. "He's respectful, mature, and exudes exemplary morals and character traits. He's as fervent a supporter of our team as anyone, yet he does so respectfully, especially towards others that he competes against. He battled through a nagging injury all fall in a season when he looked poised to be in our top 7 after his showing at our first Lehigh meet. Others may have sulked or would have been burdened with this disappointment. However, Geoffrey optimized every cross training and physical therapy appointment possible to return as quickly as possible. He did so with an admirable positivity which should be expected since it's how he routinely conducts himself. Geoffrey is the shining example of how to conduct yourself with dignity and respect, and there will be no better example of someone for this honor on our roster."

Volleyball
Senior defensive specialist Allie Ludlow was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team from Moravian's volleyball squad. Ludlow played in 23 matches for the Greyhounds this fall as she contributed 180 digs, 11 service aces and 11 assists.

Field Hockey
Senior midfielder Sarah Bietka is the field hockey team's 2023 recipient of the All-Sportsmanship honor. Bietka earned Landmark All-Conference Field Hockey First Team honors this fall as she scored five goals and two assists while helping Moravian reach the Landmark Conference Semifinals for the third consecutive fall.

"Sarah's selection to the All-Sportsmanship Team is a testament to her dedication, blending relentless hard work with a contagious positive attitude," commented Head Coach Sarah Dalrymple. "In every competition, she exemplifies the spirit of sportsmanship, turning every challenge into an opportunity to uplift those around her."

Football
Senior punter/defensive back Colin Conway is the football squad's first Landmark Conference All-Sportsmanship honoree with the sport joining the conference this fall. Conway was named to the Landmark All-Conference Football Honorable Mention squad after averaging 38.8 yards on 43 punts with a long of 59 yards, 16 inside the 20-yard line, four fair caught and two touchbacks. Conway also made 31 tackles and three pass break-ups on defense.

Women's Soccer
Senior midfielder Felicia Gall has been a key member of the Greyhounds' squad for four years although injuries limited her playing time. She will be a three-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

"Felicia represents our program so well," stated Head Women's Soccer Coach Jeff Ykoruk. "She has been through several injuries and always found a way to prioritize Moravian Women's Soccer. The entire program looks up to her and feeds off her positive energy; on gameday, she is our heart and soul."

Men's Soccer
Senior midfielder Dave Steinbach is the men's soccer team's selection to the All-Sportsmanship Team. Steinbach had one assist this fall while serving as a team captain for the third straight season. He was on the 2022 Landmark All-Conference Second Team, and Steinbach had eight goals and an assist in 71 career matches with the Greyhounds.
