BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University Athletics is hosting its fifth Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from November 9-19. The Greyhounds have 951 supporters over five days of the challenge raising more than $86,200.
The baseball team leads the list with 191 supporters for more than $9,700. The men's lacrosse squad has a total of 134 supporters for over $11,000, ahead of the softball, which has 128 supporters for nearly $12,000. The women's basketball program has 79 supporters for nearly $7,000 while the women's lacrosse team has 75 supporters for over $13,100 and women's volleyball has 74 supporters for over $2,500. The football program has 58 supporters for over $8,200 while Blue & Grey Club has 34 supporters for over $2,100 after day five of the athletics giving challenge.
There are different ways to be involved, donors can make a donation to the general account to help with departmental-wide needs or select a program that they feel most passionate about.
