NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Moravian University men's and women's cross country teams have both been regionally ranked by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association in the organizations preseason rankings.
The Greyhound men, who have won the last two Landmark Conference Championships and return 13 runners this fall, are ranked second in the Metro Region by the USTFCCCA. The Hounds were third in the NCAA Division III Metro Regional last season. Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann has four All-Region runners set to anchor the team in 2023.
The Moravian women sit in fifth in the 2023 Metro Region Preseason rankings. Baumann welcomes back 17 competitors this year including two All-Region competitors.
The Greyhounds open the 2023 campaign on Friday, September 1 at the Lehigh University Invitational.
