NEWVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's cross country team closed out the 2023 season at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country National Championships hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School.

How It Happened

Junior Nathan Hajel was the Hounds' only qualifier, and he finished 210th of 294 runners the 8,000-meter course with a time of 26:33.6
Hajel was in 244th at the mile checkpoint, and he moved up to 235th a mile later. Hajel came through the 5K point in 217th and moved up seven more spots before the finish
