Moravian Runs at Lehigh University Invitational to Begin 2019

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country squad began its 2019 season by running in the Lehigh University Invitational on the Goodman Campus in south Bethlehem Friday with the Greyhounds placing sixth of seven teams with 144 points.

Senior Carly Danoski was the top finisher for Moravian as she took 21st of 68 runners on the 6,000-meter course with a time of 23:13.63. Junior Natalie Novotni was 23rd overall in 23.22.88 while sophomore Natalie Stabilito finished 27th with a time of 24:00.35. Rounding out the Hounds' top five were junior Molly Talarico in 41st in 24:35.61 and sophomore Emma Marion in 51st with a time of 25:31.58.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, September 14 when the squads head to Colmar Manor Community Park in Colmar Manor, Maryland to compete in the Catholic University of America Cardinal Classic and preview the course that will also be the sight of the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships in November.
