Greyhound Women Post Top 10 Finish at Rowan University Inter-Regional Rumble

GLASSBORO, N.J. --- The Moravian College women's cross country team had a top 10 finished in the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Rowan University at DREAM Park Saturday in the squads' final tune-up for the 2019 Landmark Championships.

The Greyhounds finished eighth of 27 teams with a score of 261, leading the five Landmark Conference schools in the race. Johns Hopkins University won the event with a score of 26 points. Junior Natalie Novotni paced the Greyhounds with a 32nd place finish of 224 runners as she posted a time of 22:33.8 on the 6,000-meter course. Senior Carly Danoski was one spot back in 33rd in 22:35.5 while junior Grace Gilbert was 73rd in a personal best time of 23:22.8 and junior Molly Talarico finished 74th in a PR time of 23:26.9. Sophomore Santina Burak was 86th for the Greyhounds in a PR of 23:45.6 while sophomore Rachael McCoach finished 98th in a time of 23:59.4 and senior Ashley Rohrer was 110th in 24:05.6.

The Hounds are scheduled return to action on Saturday, November 2 when the squad competes in the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships being hosted by The Catholic University of America at Colmar Manor Park in Maryland.
