Women's Soccer & Basketball Teams Participate in Cops n Kids Christmas Tree Event

Cops n Kids at Mayor's Christmas Tree Ceremony

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Members of the Moravian College women's basketball and women's soccer teams participated in the Cops n Kids Mayor's Tree Decorating Friday, November 21 along with 3rd graders from Calypso and Lincoln Elementary School.

Juniors Catherine Lamplugh, Melissa Pavia and Brittany Nicoline, sophomores Hannah LaFronz and Valentina Margiottiello and freshmen Nicole Reichert and Brooke Leacott participated from the women's soccer team while senior Alexis Wright, juniors Karlee Corvasce and Marie Rossignoli, sophomore Nellie Tanguay and freshman Taylor Freeman of the women's basketball squad helped the elementary students hang ornaments on the tree. They also handed out books, backpacks and handmade bookmarks from Cops n Kids.

The tree is located in downtown Bethlehem outside of City Hall and the Bethlehem Public Library.
