BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's and women's basketball team held the William Penn Elementary School March Madness Day at Moravian College in Johnston Hall.

The entire elementary school walked over to Johnston Hall for the afternoon event that several men's and women's coaches & players were involved as scorekeepers, coaches, referees and sound system managers.

The feature of the day was a game played between the fifth graders and the faculty which was a 4 point victory for the students. Prior to the game several students sang the national anthem and there was a cheerleader performance at halftime. In between the quarters there were hotly contested challenge relays between the classes in each grade.

To cap off the day the entire fifth grade challenged the entire faculty to a tug of war. For almost a minute neither side budged but the strength and endurance of the faculty provided them with a much needed win after losing the basketball game. It can be safely said that everyone had a great time.
