Men's Basketball Presents End of Year Team Awards

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's basketball team had three awards presented for the Most Valuable Player, Team Award and the Paul M. Marcincin Award at the team's end of the year meeting.

The MVP and Team award are selected by the team and coaching staff while the Paul M. Marcincin is selected by the coaches. The Most Valuable Player is the player who contributes the most to the team's success. Sophomore forward Brandon McGuire was selected as this year's MVP.

The Team award is also collectively selected as a group. Junior forward Bobby Zimmermann was selected as the player, who by his actions and play best exemplifies the meaning the word team.

The Paul M. Marcincin Award which was the final award was presented to senior guard Izel Dickerson. The award is dedicated to former player and coach Paul Marcincin at Moravian College and is given to a player who best combines excellence on the court and in the classroom.
