Women's Basketball Ranked First in Division III in Blocked Shots Per Game

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Moravian College women's basketball team is ranked first in NCAA Division III in blocked shots per game, averaging 7.6. They are also ranked 15th in the country with 1,233 points scored on the season.

Senior forward Alexandra Blair (Hellertown, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) is ninth in the nation with 3.8 blocks per game. This is the eighth straight week she has been ranked in the top ten for blocked shots per game. Blair is tied for 63rd with six double-doubles and tied for first with one triple-double. She is also ranked 78th in field goal percentage at 48.4 (105-of-217). On the season, Blair is leading the Greyhounds with 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

Senior guard Hilary Murray (Clinton, NJ/North Hunterdon) is tied for 34th in assist turnover ratio at 1.84. She leads Moravian with 61 assists to go with her 5.9 points per game and 27 steals.

The Greyhounds return to action this Friday, January 27th when they travel to Landmark Conference foe Goucher College for a 5:30 p.m. start time.
