BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College women's basketball (15-9, 8-5 Landmark) welcomes Landmark Conference foe The University of Scranton to Johnston Hall for the final game of the season on Saturday, February 18th.

Its senior day for the Lady Greyhounds and the first ever Teddy Bear Toss which is sponsored by the Moravian College DawgPack Mascot Performers. At halftime, a countdown will be followed by an aerial launch of the flying furballs onto center court. All teddy bears and other stuffed animals will be collected and donated to St. Luke's Hospital Pediatric Unit for distribution to children. Everyone who brings a stuffed animal to donate will receive a raffle ticket good for prize drawings throughout the game.

Moravian will be the sixth Division III institution this winter to participate in a Teddy Bear Toss. Wisconsin Stout University and Lakeland College both did the toss at basketball games while Utica College, Castleton State College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute had it done at their school's ice hockey game.

Final Home Game: The Greyhounds will honor three seniors who will play their final game in Johnston Hall. Alexandra Blair, Hilary Murray and Cassandra Phillips will be recognized before the game.

Rejected: Moravian is ranked first in NCAA Division III with 7.5 blocks per game and a total of 180 blocks this season.

Dynamic Duo: Senior forward Alexandra Blair and freshman forward Alexis Wright have been a one-two punch this season. Blair ranks third in the conference with 13.3 points per game, second with 9.1 rebounds per game and first with 3.46 blocked shots per game. Wright ranks ninth in the conference with 11.1 points per contest, third with 8.0 rebounds per contest and 1.79 blocks per game.

Floor General: Senior guard Hilary Murray second in the conference with 3.55 assists per game and 11th in steals per game at 1.77. She also has a 1.70 assist turnover ratio which ranks her second in the Landmark Conference.

Deep Threat: Sophomore guard Danielle Brogan has made 42 three-pointers this season which ranks her third in the conference. Her .350 (42-for-120) three-point percentage ranks her third in the conference. She is also averaging 7.4 points per game.

Scouting Scranton: The Royals (15-9, 10-3 Landmark) are a three-point shooting team, leading the Landmark Conference with a .340 (146-for-430) three-point field goal percentage. Sophomore guard Alison Sweeney and senior guard Sidney Jaques rank one-four in three-point field goal percentage, respectively. Sweeney is shooting .408 (49-for-120) while Jaques is shooting .333 (26-for-78).

Landmark Conference: Nationally-ranked #13/#11 Juniata College (23-1, 13-0) has clinched the #1 seed for the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Catholic University of America (19-5, 10-3) and The University of Scranton (15-9, 10-3) are tied for second place, and their seeds are yet to be determined. Moravian College (15-9, 8-5) is locked in the #4 seed of the conference tournament. USMMA (10-14, 4-9), Drew University (8-16, 4-9), Susquehanna University (5-19, 2-11) and Goucher College (5-19, 1-12) have been eliminated from postseason play.

Next Week: The Greyhounds (#4 seed) will travel to Juniata College (#1 seed) on Wednesday, February 22nd for the semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament.
