Women's Basketball Ranked First in NCAA in Blocked Shots Per Game

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Moravian College women's basketball team is ranked first in NCAA Division III in blocked shots per game, averaging 7.4. They are also ranked 25th in the country with 1,350 points scored on the season.

Senior forward Alexandra Blair (Hellertown, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) is ninth in Division III with 3.6 blocks per game. She is ranked 91st with a 47.3 (114-for-241) field goal percentage. Blair is tied for first with one triple-double and tied for 63rd with seven double-doubles. On the season, Blair is averaging 13.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game to go with her 72 blocks, 45 assists and 17 steals.

Senior guard Hilary Murray (Clinton, NJ/North Hunterdon) is ranked 43rd in the country in assists turnover ratio at 1.69 per game. On the season, she is averaging 5.3 points per contest to go with her 30 steals and team-high 66 assists.

The Greyhounds return to action this Friday, February 3rd when they host Landmark Conference rival Susquehanna University. The contest is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
