Meaghan McMullan honored as Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week.

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore midfielder Meaghan McMullan has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

McMullan scored 20 points on 13 goals and seven assists to help Moravian to a 2-0 week in non-conference action. She also had eight ground balls, eight draw controls and one caused turnover during the week. McMullan had five goals, two assists, three ground balls, eight draw controls and a caused turnover in a 16-8 win over Alvernia University. She then scored a school record 13 points on career highs of eight goals and five assists to go along with five ground balls and one caused turnover in a 21-16 victory at Widener University.

"I was thrilled to see Meaghan have such a breakthrough offensive performance last week," commented Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She's beginning to establish herself as a true threat on the attacking end of the field. I'm excited to see how she continues to improve and grow as an athlete this season."

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Wednesday, March 20 then the squad hosts Swarthmore College in a non-conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
