Former Players Schall & DiSora Join Women's Soccer Coaching Staff

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's soccer team has added two former players Kirsten Schall and Taylor DiSora to the coaching staff for the 2015 season.

Head Coach Jeff Ykoruk, who is entering his second season at Moravian is looking forward to the former players being on staff. "To have two of the top players in the last few years join our staff is very exciting."

Schall is a 2015 Moravian graduate and finished her career last fall as one of the top offensive players in school history. She completed her career third all-time in goals with 35, fourth in assists with 18 and third in points with 88. Schall was a two-time Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year including 2014, and she was named to the Landmark All-Conference Teams each season of her career including the First Team in 2012 and 2014. Last season, Schall was also selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team.

"Kirsten will do an outstanding job as the full-time assistant," stated Ykoruk. "She has already made a positive impact on our recruiting and team dynamic. She is as good as it gets and will play a large part in our future success on and off the field."

DiSora is a 2014 graduate of Moravian, and she played in 79 career matches four goals and five assists from her midfield position. She was named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team as a senior in 2013 after making the All-Conference Second Team in 2012. Since graduating, DiSora has been working for Crayola.

"It will be a tremendous help to have Taylor be a part of things here," commented Ykourk. "Her passion for the game is evident and has been very active as a coach in the local LVU club system. She loves the program and was very excited to hear about the direction we are moving in."

Moravian is slated to begin its preseason camp on Wednesday, August 19 as the Hounds prepare for their 2015 season opener on Tuesday, September 1 at Arcadia University.
