Trevor Dzama for USILA award

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Moravian University sophomore attack Trevor Dzama has been chosen for the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Team of the Week for his performance last week.

Dzama, who was also honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week, was a key part of Moravian's offense in a 2-0 record last week as he led the squad with 16 points on five goals and 11 assists to go along with four ground balls. Dzama began the week with four goals and three assists in a 21-6 non-conference win at Bryn Athyn College, and he then posted a goal, eight assists and four ground balls in a 22-9 Landmark Conference victory on the road at Juniata College. Dzama's eight assists against the Eagles tied the Landmark Conference single match record and is also tied for the third most in a match in program history. It is the second time in 2022 that Dzama has recorded eight assists in a single contest.

"Trevor has been a great addition to the starting attack this season," noted Head Coach Dave Carty. "He's got great vision to find his teammates, and he can finish when he needs to. He has added a new dimension to our offense with his feeding ability from behind the net."

The Greyhounds, who are 5-3 overall and 1-1 in Landmark Conference action, are scheduled to return to action Saturday, April 9 in a Landmark Conference match at Goucher College starting at 1:00 p.m.
