BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's lacrosse team will begin the 2024 campaign on John Makuvek Field on Wednesday, February 21 as the Greyhounds host Lebanon Valley College at 4:00 p.m. in non-conference action.
The Hounds head out on the road for a pair of matches on Spring Break with a trip to the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday, February 24 and a neutral site contest with Berry (Ga.) College on Saturday, March 2 at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida.
Once Moravian returns to Pennsylvania, the Blue & Grey will play six of seven contests at home beginning with a non-conference match versus Albright College on Wednesday, March 5. The Hounds final road contest of the month is at Immaculata University on Saturday, March 9, and the Greyhounds begin a five-match homestand on Wednesday, March 13 versus Saint Joseph's (Maine) College. Moravian welcomes DeSales University to Makuvek Field on Wednesday, March 20, and the Hounds open the 2024 Landmark Conference season on Saturday, March 23 versus conference newcomer Wilkes University. The Blue & Grey close out March with home matches with the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday, March 27 and Susquehanna University on Friday, March 29.
The Greyhounds have seven Landmark Conference matches scheduled in April with five on the road beginning at Goucher College on Wednesday, April 3. Moravian makes trips to Juniata College on Saturday, April 6 and Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, April 10 while the Hounds will host The Catholic University of America on Saturday, April 13 and Drew University on Wednesday, April 17. The Blue & Grey finish the regular season with two road contests with trips to conference newcomer Lycoming College on Saturday, April 20 and The University of Scranton on Saturday, April 27.
The 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament is slated to start on Tuesday, April 30 with third and fourth seeds hosting the fifth and sixth seeds in the First Round, and then the first and second seeds will host the Semifinal matches on Thursday, May 2. The championship match will be played at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, May 4 with the conference champion receiving an automatic berth to the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament.
