Dzama Named to United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Blatant Division III Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Moravian University senior attack Trevor Dzama has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Blatant Lacrosse Division III Team of the Week for his performance last week.

Dzama, who was also honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday, assisted Moravian to a 2-0 week in non-conference action as he contributed nine goals, eight assists and three ground balls during the two matches. Dzama scored five goals and four assists in a 15-12 win over Albright College, and he recorded three goals, four assists and a pair of ground balls in a 10-9 win at Immaculata University. Dzama is now within two assists of becoming the second player in Moravian history to reach 100 career assists.

"Trevor been a great captain for us and leader for us so far this season, and we're excited to see how he finishes his career the rest of the year," stated Head Coach Dave Carty. "He's developed as a feeder and shooter this year and shown that he has great eyes but can also finish."

The Hounds, who are 2-3 on the season, are slated to return to action on Wednesday, March 13 in a non-conference match versus Saint Joseph's (Maine) College beginning at 2:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
