Michael Bone making a save versus Dickinson for Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week honors

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University graduate student goalie Michael Bone has been named as the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Bone recorded a pair of saves in 101:18 minutes of action and his fourth career shutout as the Greyhounds defeated Dickinson College, 1-0 in double overtime, to begin the 2021 season last Saturday

"Congratulations to Mike Bone for being named Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week. Dickinson came after us from the start of the game, but Mike and our back line stood strong into overtime," commented Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "It was a real veteran performance by Mike. He gave us a chance to win, which we did in the second overtime."

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 8 in a non-conference match at Ramapo College of New Jersey beginning at 4:00 p.m.
