SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer team fell to host Susquehanna University, 4-1, in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon.
How It Happened
- The River Hawks would take a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 18th minute, and Susquehanna added markers in the 29th and 41st minutes to head into the intermission with a 3-0 advantage
- Susquehanna stretched its edge to 4-0 with another goal in the 53rd minute
- The Greyhounds would get onto the scoreboard in the 57th minute when sophomore defender Jake Crawford found the goal off passes from senior defender Jake Stafford and senior forward Andrew Goodolf
- Neither squad found another goal over the final 32 minutes of action
Inside the Numbers
- Susquehanna had a 12-10 advantage in shots while both teams took six corner kicks in the match
- Graduate student Michael Bone made the start in goal for the Hounds, and he played the first 45 minutes of the contest. Sophomore Andrew Remias played then second half and had one save
- Crawford's goal was the first of his career
- Stafford earned his first career assist while Goodolf picked up his third career assist and first of 2021
