BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer program is set to open the 2022 season with a road trip to Virginia on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3 for a pair of non-conference matches versus Virginia Wesleyan University and Christopher Newport University.
The Greyhounds will play at home on John Makuvek Field for the first time on September 7 when Ramapo College of New Jersey. The Hounds then head out on the road for a season-long four game road trip beginning with Dickinson College on September 9, followed by a match at Messiah on September 10. On September 14, the Blue & Grey travel to Montclair State University for a night match, then the squad heads to Neumann University for an afternoon match on September 17. Moravian is back on Makuvek Field for just the second and last time in the month of September when Wilkes University comes to campus on September 21. The 2022 Landmark Conference schedule begins on September 24 when the Hounds travel to Juniata College to close out September.
The month of October will see the Greyhounds play eight contests and six of them will be at Makuvek Field when the squad hosts Susquehanna on October 1 in conference action before hosting rival Muhlenberg College under the lights on October 5, their first night game at home. Moravian will make the trip to Drew University on October 8 for their first road game of the month, leading into a four-game homestand with Landmark Conference opponents The University of Scranton on October 15, Elizabethtown College on October 19 and The Catholic University of America on October 22. The Blue & Grey close out their home schedule with a non-conference opponent, Penn State-Abington on October 25. Moravian ends their regular season on the road in conference action against Goucher College on October 29.
The Greyhounds look to qualify for the 2022 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the semifinals on Wednesday, November 2 and the finals slated for Saturday, November 5 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
