TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad fell to host Goucher College, 2-1, in Landmark Conference action to close out the 2022 season.

How It Happened

  • The squads played a scoreless first half
  • The Greyhounds broke onto the scoreboard first in the 53rd minute when sophomore forward Ben Scary netted an unassisted goal
  • The Gophers answered nine minutes later to tie the match at 1-1 in the 62nd minute, and Goucher took a 2-1 edge in the 66th minute
  • Moravian would get four shots on goal in the final five minutes of action but was unable to find the equalizer 

Inside the Numbers

  • Scary's goal was his sixth of the season and seventh of his career with the Greyhounds
  • Junior goalie Andrew Remias had one save in the contest
  • Moravian finished the day with a 15-11 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks
