TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior goalie Andrew Remias has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Remias recorded the first two shutouts of his career and made a total of seven saves in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. He posted a save in the first shutout of his career in a 3-0 victory over future Landmark Conference foe Wilkes University last Wednesday on John Makuvek Field. Remias then made six saves in a 2-0 shutout win at Juniata College to begin the 2022 Landmark Conference season.

"Congratulations to Andrew. He came up big for us with shutout wins against Wilkes and Juniata," noted Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "He made big saves when we needed them the most and he did a very good job controlling the box. His distribution also took a lot of pressure off us."

Moravian, which is 3-5-1 overall and 1-0 in Landmark Conference action, is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 1 when the Hounds host Susquehanna University in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
