TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University men's soccer team has had senior midfielder Dave Steinbach and sophomore defender Kyle Weiss named to the 2022 Landmark All-Conference Second Team.

Moravian, under the direction of fifth year Head Coach Bob Wilkinson, posted a 5-8-4 record this fall including a 2-2-3 mark in Landmark Conference action.

"Congratulations to Dave Steinbach and Kyle Weiss for being named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team," stated Wilkinson. "This is quite an honor and well-deserved. Kyle and Dave are two of our hardest workers both in season and out of season. They have shown tremendous leadership over the past year and have been a pleasure to coach."

Steinbach was honored for the first time in his career, and he netted three goals this fall. Steinbach has recorded eight goals with a pair of game-winning goals while playing in 53 matches with 35 starts in his career.

"Dave has been a captain for the last two seasons," Wilkinson said. "He leads both vocally and by example. He started 16 games in the center-midfield scoring three goals. He has a great work rate, wins head balls and usually matches up with one of the other team's best players. Dave plays a big part in everything we accomplish as a team."

Weiss was also honored for the first time in his career. In two seasons, Weiss has an assist in 31 matches with 18 starts.

"Kyle had a great season for us starting 15 games at center back," commented Wilkinson. "He is an excellent 1v1 defender and he keeps our back line organized as well. He is incredibly competitive in everything he does and impactful in everything we do as a team. We look forward to seeing his contributions to our team over the next two years."
