BETHLEHEM Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team was the runner-up in the Elizabethtown College Short Course Invitational run at Union Canal Tunnel Park Friday evening.
The Greyhounds were second of 10 schools with 66 points, finishing as the runner-up to Dickinson College. Senior Gregory Jaindl led the Greyhounds with a third place finish of 120 runners on the 6,000-meter course in a time of 18:36.52. Senior Gavin Kemery was tenth in the race in 19:17.78 while senior Justin Beasley-Turner placed 14th in a time of 19:22.62. Freshman Darlyn Fermin took 16th in 19:29.06 while sophomore Shane Houghton was 22nd in a time of 19:37.75 and sophomore Dominic DeRafelo was 27th at 19:47.37.
Moravian is slated to run again on Saturday, October 5 when the teams compete in the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
