Greyhounds Place Third at Lebanon Valley Invitational

LEBANON, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's cross country team finished third of 17 schools at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational at Union Canal Tunnel Park Saturday as the Hounds previewed the course for the 2024 Landmark Conference Championship meet in November. 

How It Happened

  • The Hounds scored 99 points while the host Flying Dutchmen won with 21 points and Ursinus College finished second with 66 points
  • Junior Bryan Kerchner was third of the 188 runners with a time 25:26.7 on the 8,000-meter course
  • Senior Owen Nahf finished in 29th in 27:17.20 while sophomore Nate Moore ran the same time and senior Nathan Hajel was 32nd in a time of 27:18.4, edging graduate student Cole Stanchina to round out the top five runners
  • Senior Jake Farrell placed 39th with a time of 27:40.7 while graduate student Josh Mangini took 51st in 28:03.10
