Greyhounds Set Three More School Records on Second Day of Landmark Conference Championships

BOYDS, Md. --- The Moravian University women's swimming squad set three more school records on the second day of the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center as the Greyhounds picked up 25 points in the team standings.

How It Happened

  • Senior Sydney Steere set the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:19.22
  • Senior Jaelyn Mitchell set a school record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.38 in the preliminaries
  • Sophomore Catie Lovett reached the "B" finals of the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:07.32 in the preliminaries. She had a time of 1:07.45 in the finals to earn a point
  • Sophomore Sarah Mazzetti swam a PR time of 1:19.70 in the 100-yard breaststroke
  • Senior Marissa Werner posted a PR time of 1:09.14 in the 100-yard backstroke preliminaries
  • The 200-yard medley relay squad of Werner, Mazzetti, Mitchell and Lovett set the school record with a time of 2:03.14
  • The Hounds are in seventh place after the second day of competition with 73 points
