Leonard Honored as Landmark Women's Field Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Senior jumper Micah Leonard of the Moravian College women's outdoor track & field team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Leonard captured first in the triple jump at the Lafayette College 7-Way Meet with an ECAC qualifying leap of 11.63 meters (38 feet, two inches), a distance that puts her fourth on the Track & Field Results Reporting System list that will have the top 22 individuals and top 16 relay teams at the end of the season in each event heading to the NCAA Division III National Championships at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The Greyhounds finished sixth of eight teams at the meet.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, April 5th in the opening day of the Sam Howell Memorial Invitational hosted by Princeton University.
