Men's Soccer Falls to Stevenson at Fuzzy Williams Classic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Stevenson (Md.) University in the second day of the Fuzzy Williams Memorial Classic hosted by Bethany (W.Va.) College Saturday.

The Mustangs took a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute when junior forward Steve Hamilton scored an unassisted goal.  Stevenson added two unassisted tallies in the second half with junior midfielder Christopher Panian scoring in the 61st minute and freshman forward Zachary Martin finding the net in the 88th minute.

Moravian senior goalie Mike Brand had three saves in the game while Mustangs' freshman keeper Kenneth Hersey posted seven saves.  Both squads had three corner kicks in the contest.

The Greyhounds are set to return to action on Wednesday, September 5th when they travel to Rosemont College for a non-conference match starting at 4:00 p.m.
