With the addition of Lycoming College and Wilkes University to the Landmark Conference in 2023-24, all postseason tournaments have expanded to six teams with the top two seeds earning first round byes. The Greyhounds defeated fifth seed Elizabethtown College, 2-1 in double overtime last Saturday in the first round, to set up the meeting with the River Hawks in the Semifinals. Wednesday's other Semifinal has second seed The Catholic University of America hosting third seed The University of Scranton after the Royals defeated sixth seeded Wilkes, 5-0, in the first round. The 2023 Landmark Conference Championships match is set for Saturday, November 4 at the highest remaining seed for the conference title and a berth to the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.

The Greyhounds, who are 9-8 overall and were 6-3 in the Landmark Conference regular season, are under the direction of fourth-year Head Coach Sarah Dalrymple, who is in her third season on the field with the 2020 campaign cancelled by the pandemic. Dalrymple led Moravian to the program's first-ever Landmark Conference Tournament appearance in 2021 and the first postseason berth for the Greyhounds since 1987, and the Hounds followed that up by making the conference championship match for the first time in program history last fall after being the fourth seed in the 2022 tournament. This season marks the third straight campaign that the Greyhounds have played in the Landmark Semifinals.

Sophomore forward Gia Ambrosino leads the Greyhounds with eight goals and a pair of assists while senior defender Onalee Long has contributed four goals and four assists. Junior forward Sydney Anderson has netted four goals and two assists, and she scored both goals in the First Round victory.
