Moravian Falls at DeSales in Final Match of Fall Season

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis squad dropped a 5-4 non-conference decision to DeSales University Saturday in the Greyhounds final match of the fall portion of the 2021-22 season. 

How It Happened

  • The Bulldogs led 2-1 after doubles with the tandem junior Andrew Hozza and freshman Ronny Pimentel Ferrer earning an 8-4 win at third doubles
  • The squads would split the six singles contests with Moravian winning the three lower singles matches. Hozza recorded a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at sixth singles while Pimentel Ferrer won 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles. Junior Kieran Pisani posted a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) victory at fourth singles
