BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II Kutztown University, 5-1, in non-conference action Saturday evening as the Greyhounds began their 2022 spring season indoors in Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse.

How It Happened

  • The Golden Bears led 2-1 after the doubles matches completed with victories and first and second doubles. The Greyhounds third tandem of freshmen Zachary Lebby and Ronny Pimentel Ferrer earned an 8-4 triumph for the Blue and Grey's doubles point
  • Kutztown won the first three singles contests to finish at third, second and fourth singles to earn the team victory. The matches at first singles and fifth singles were unfinished and the sixth singles contest did not begin. Moravian freshman Anthony Ronca was on the court for more than two hours in his first singles match that was 7-5, 5-7 and ready to start the third set
